    Hi,

    I am using Yoast SEO which is generating several site maps, less now I have deleted some content including posts. I am looking to clear the decks so to speak as the website is a simple 8 pages. I would be extremely grateful if somebody knows how I am to set things up so as to have only the mywebsite/page-sitemap.xml in place whilst removing the others Screenshot of sitemap?

    One other thing, the website is 8 pages but is only showing as 7 on Google Analytics, is that because one is the landing page, as in the Private Content area? If so, would it be advisable to name that page ‘home’ so it can be crawled/indexed or leave it as is?

    I seem to have been able to do what I needed without removing the additional sitemaps. Please close this thread, feel free to delete it.
