    Hi,
    my site is loading very slow.
    Please have a look at the WebPageTest-waterfall: [Link removed]
    There are almost 3 seconds just loading some html.
    As you see it is not an issue of imagesize (optimized) or of the host, which is really fast (tested with pure html-pages and other database apps).
    In the Enfold-settings I have enabled combine js/css.

    When I copy the source-code of the webpage into a new html-document and load this, it loads blazing fast (sure, no database, no nothing). So the construction of the html seems to be the problem.

    How could I check out which part of the site is responsible for the problem?

    Hey bnetz,

    The server waiting time seems to be the problem in your case, there’s almost a 1.5 second wait for the server to respond, as you can see in the fields indicated in yellow in the test in private. Please bring that up with your hosting provider.

    Hi Rikard, thanks for your quick reply!
    As I am sure the server is quick – isn’t it possible that the waiting time is induced by the CMS/theme constructing the html-code to be delivered?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I think that is very unlikely, since the time indicated in yellow is how long it takes for the server to return something. If you should find that there is something wrong with the theme or WordPress though, then please let us know and we’ll try to correct it for you.

    Thanks, Rikard. Actually it was the server which responded quick but seemed to have some problems building the database-queries.

    So have been right.
