Hello, we use this theme and our site was fine when we were using shared hosting, however around a month ago we transitioned to VPS Hosting. Before this, we used a few plugins and were able to enjoy loading times of 1-2 seconds, however since switching there has been a delay, with the page taking 6-20 seconds to load at some extreme times. I have been working on fixing the problems, however everything seems to be a temporary fix that brings up site speed and performance for a day or two, and then they go back to the low speeds. Would you be able to provide support, we are on an Linux Apache server and would like assistance for both mobile and desktop versions. So far, we use Smush and NitroPack, and are on the most recent version of Envato. I have also looked into converting images into WebP, are there any plugins you would recommend we try to keep the site performance stuff on the free end.

Please have a look at the test in private, you will see that there are very long waiting times for the server to respond. Please try bringing that problem up with your hosting provider.
Best regards,

Please have a look at that test for me again, and let me know if any changes can you please take another look, and give me some suggestions to speed the site up, I believe everything improved significantly but I want to maximize the theme performance as well.

January 27, 2021 at 4:15 am #1275654Hi,
Thanks for the update. Your site loads in just over 2 seconds on both tests in private, I think that is good performance. If you want to increase that more, then there are suggestions listed for you in the tests. The server still has high response times, but you will have to bring that up with your hosting provider. I don’t think you can do anything about that yourself.
Best regards,
RikardJanuary 27, 2021 at 8:53 pm #1275870Hey Rikard, so we use Plesk to manage the site, do you know where I might be able to get an accurate number on the response times. Also, I am looking to improve our site performance on mobile devices, including tablets and phones. Do you have any suggestions, such as custom css or code that I might be able to apply to speed the site up on these platforms? I have seen other examples online but wanted personal suggestions after someone viewed the site and deemed them useful.
January 27, 2021 at 8:55 pm #1275871I would also like to add webp images and gzip compression would you have any suggestions of good free or paid solutions.
January 29, 2021 at 5:47 am #1276241Hi,
I’m not familiar with plesk unfortunately, don’t they have a support channel which you can reach out to? Adding CSS to your site likely won’t change anything in regards to performance. If you improve it for desktop, then it should be improved for mobile devices as well.
Webp images are not supported by WordPress by default, but there’s likely plugins you can try to implement support. I can’t say exactly how the theme would react to that though.
If you need to compress resources then you can do so under Enfold->Performance in the theme. If you need other type of compression, then please try searching for solutions online, they are likely not platform or theme specific.
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 5, 2021 at 4:43 am #1277820Hey Rikard, I took your feedback into consideration, spoke with our host, and today we decided to upgrade our ram an extra gigabyte. Please revisit the site and leave any feedback as you have been very helpful in this entire feedback. We have seen pages load faster, but want to make sure that it isn’t a fluke.
