    Hi guys,

    Thank you for your help.

    When editing my slider content for my homepage, in editor and preview playback, my text layer appears as intended and functions fine.

    However when viewed on my site, contents of my text layer no longer shows. It only shows a small cutout of the transparent box.

    Sorry, how do you attach screen captures here? As I would like to show you.

    As you can see, on slide #1 of the Advance layer slider. My text and the semi-transparent box doesn’t show on the left side. Only a small rectangle is shown.

    Is this due to a problem in the CSS? content space allowed etc. ?

    Please help thanks.

    Hi!

    Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.3.2 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. You are currently using an older version of the theme

    Ok I’ll try that first. Sorry as its been like 6hrs since my post. And I see that everyone else’s problem has been assist.

    Hi Yigit,
    I am reading up on how to backup my current modifications or setting up my current modifications as a child theme. Before I attempt to update Enfold to latest version.

    As I would kill myself if I were to lose everything that I have created and modified so far for my site.

    Have you any advice in terms of creating a backup of what I’ve created with Enfold so far. ? How to do it properly?

    Hi Andy,

    I was able to create a backup of my site using BackWPup. However, inevitably I still have to make my current site into a child-theme, as I have to update Enfold version. The point is; dumb enough, all my previous changes was done directly to my original Enfold theme, therefore I am told that after updating Enfold version, all my current settings and changes would be ALL GONE !!!

    I have tried creating a child-theme but with no success. I wonder if someone can help me to make my current site into a child-theme? If I provide credentials for my FTP and or WordPress.

    I realize this maybe a big favor to ask for, but I have no knowledge of CSS or PHP, perhaps I am writing the wrong commands for my functions.php document. I really have no idea. I really hope that someone can help me to solve this issue.

    You help is very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
