In the Enfold dimension settings, I set the site width to be 960px. All of the content on the pages that I have created are only filling about 750px of the page. What is going on there?
June 3, 2015 at 5:26 pm #453959Hey summerswim!
It’s displaying as 960px on my end. Keep in mind that there is 50px padding on each side for most sections.
Cheers!
ElliottJune 4, 2015 at 12:41 am #454152The area of content is only about 750 wide. Even with a 50px padding on each side there should still be 110 px of space to use. Why does the content area not go to 860px across?
June 4, 2015 at 12:52 am #454156Sorry 960 across.
June 4, 2015 at 1:51 am #454171Hey!
What’s your resolution? you should know that the container width will adapt to the browser window (it looks 960px on my end, 1920×1080).

JosueJune 4, 2015 at 2:16 am #454180I’m on a 17 inch Mackbook Pro. We’ve tried it on several different monitor sizes. The area where the content spans is only around 750 wide on this monitor and larger desktop monitors.
June 4, 2015 at 2:39 am #454184Hi!
Can you post a screenshot of your view?

http://jwheelerdesign.com/ver2/?portfolio=audit-resource-centerJune 4, 2015 at 3:37 am #454198Hm it’s strange, make sure you don’t have any zoom activated, here’s how it looks on my end – https://www.dropbox.com/s/b6ncsu6c5ntanbv/ss.jpg?dl=0
Regards,
JosueJune 4, 2015 at 3:51 am #454203That is really strange. I don’t have a zoom on my browser. I just checked and it says Actual Size. I am viewing in Chrome. When I view in Safari it is similar to your screenshot. I wonder whey it’s sizing down in Chrome.
Another thing I noticed is that the padding around image containers is quite large. It’s part of the reason my images are not displaying at full size. Is there any way to decrease the padding around image containers?
June 4, 2015 at 4:16 am #454208Are you referring to the first image in that Page? there’s now an option to remove padding from columns.

JosueJune 4, 2015 at 4:17 am #454210Awesome! Where can I find that setting?

Best regards,
JosueJune 6, 2015 at 9:24 pm #455531I updated the Enfold theme and looked at the Column settings popup.
On this page:
http://jwheelerdesign.com/ver2/?portfolio=audit-resource-centerI removed the padding from the color section (see the screenshot here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kwquj9ux9fo8db5/Color_section.png?dl=0)
I made sure the columns did not have any padding (see screenshot here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j6drsw5ty34oacv/Column_settings.png?dl=0)
But the images look the same. They are not displaying at full size. This is disappointing. I was really hoping this new upgrade would fix my problem. Part of the problem (as I mentioned in detail above with screenshots) is that the content is not displaying at 960 width. Any other ideas that I should try?
This is a test page that I created: http://jwheelerdesign.com/ver2/?page_id=180
It shows two rows. The top row has the image at full size. As soon as I add the arrows to the left and right it makes the main image smaller. There isn’t enough room with the columns (and the padding between them). Is there any way that I can make it work so that the image displays at full size?June 6, 2015 at 11:55 pm #455544June 8, 2015 at 11:58 pm #456386I did refer to that question. I realized after that thread was closed that my issue was not resolved. I used the new column settings as recommended but i am still having spacing issues.
1.The overall width of content that displays is smaller in some browsers than others.
2. Even images that are are 780 pixels wide in a one column layout are being sized down (on this page: http://jwheelerdesign.com/ver2/?page_id=61)
June 9, 2015 at 3:59 am #456416Hey!
The image there it’s displaying at its full size – http://a.pomf.se/dhgifk.png
