Hi All,
I’m trying to migrate my blog from another theme to Enfold, and so far everything has been going well and I’ve found lots of info here, but I’m a bit stumped by this current problem.
If I create a new post or edit an existing post (I know this could cause more issues with existing shortcodes etc, which is why I tested it with a new one as well), it only shows up with the correct single blog post layout (big title, feature image, etc.) when I hit save after switching back to the default editor. If I do from the advanced layout editor, it generates just as a page with the text within my post and using a standard page style it seems.
As I would prefer to be able to use both, or at least the advanced layout, I’m looking into what could cause this. Any help would be great!
Hey Xoliul,
I’m not sure if I’ve understood you correctly but it sounds like the expected behaviour, using the builder for posts will make it act more or less like a page and the regular post content will not appear. You will have to add them manually or switch back to the default editor and save the post again.
Regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard,
Makes sense if it’s the intended behaviour :) I misunderstood the purpose of the layout builder then. I’d like to keep all blog posts the same layout, without having to redo the advanced layout each time so I’ll try to edit the single post standard layout to suit my needs.
