    Hi team.

    Since updating to 2.7 the layer slider has stopped working. All I can do is delete. I can create a new slide or layer but when it comes to saving it, it just defaults back to my existing 2 slides. Almost as if the save button has become a refresh button.

    I know there are a few other in the same boat but none seem to have found a fix.

    Thank you for visiting the support forum.

    Do you mind if we take a look at the website? From what version of Enfold did you update? The latest update includes the latest version of Layer Slider. Please deactivate all plugins then test it again. If possible, test it on another browser.

    I am having this same problem and we were hoping to move our site from dev to live tomorrow, but I have to add some additional sliders. It’s not working at all in the dashboard, so I cannot create or update any sliders I currently have. I updated to WordPress 3.9 and Enfold 2.7 this morning and all looked good until this huge issue. Please assist us!

    I am having the same problem with my layer slider too since the update to 3.9 as well. I cannot edit my client’s slider at all nor export or add additional slides. I figured I’d post this here since it seems to be the same problem.

    I turned of the plugins and it started working again. I’m slowly going through each one to figure out which one did it.

    @Webtechyartist    : Glad it is working now. Please let us know what plugin cause the issue.


    @brad86    : Can you please deactivate all plugins first? We’ll test it again after. Please go to wp-content/plugins folder then delete or rename unused plugins. I created a new layer on your slider without any problem. Look for Layer#11. http://www.dancemania.uk.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=layerslider&action=edit&id=6

    All plugins are deactivated.

    I cannot see a layer titles #11 in either of the slides.

    I have removed all unused plugins also.

    Hi!

    Please try to install LayerSlider as a standalone plugin. Copy the folder enfold\config-layerslider\LayerSlider into the plugins directory (wp-content/plugins) and switch to another theme (i.e. TwentyThirteen). Then go to Plugins > All Plugins, activate LayerSlider and then re-activate the Enfold theme. Afterwards check if you can save the slideshow properly.
