Okay, I tried importing the Coming Soon demo just to see how the page was built using a background image. Apparently it was done using a Quick CSS entry tagged for the CSS item .main. I could not see the white text on the page since the demo import did not work. I replied to this on “https://kriesi.at/support/topic/coming-soon-page-is-blank-upon-importing-the-demo/”. I do not believe this has been rectified either.
The issue here is I need a site landing page that functions like the coming soon demo so I can load four graphic buttons for users to select to where they want to go. From there I need a standard site like the full restaurant demo.
So the question is: If I import the full restaurant demo site HOW do I create a site home page like the Coming Soon demo? It seems to be the solution provided in the forum using a quick css entry for the scalable page background would be for all pages. I want it limited to ONLY the home page.

If you want to create a layout like the Coming Soon demo then you can use a Color Section element and set a background to it.
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 6, 2017 at 4:24 pm #743440Okay, so I created a new page and using the advanced layout builder, dragged a color section into the pane and specified a background image. As you can see on http://newsite.bottos.com/hometest/ the background does not scale and also has a bar above and two below the background image. It looks and works nothing like http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-coming-soon/.
In the page settings, I have as the template “Blank, no header or footer”, no sidebar, don’t display socket & footer.
This is why getting the demo to import correctly was a concern since I cannot see how it was done.
So what do I do now?
February 6, 2017 at 5:38 pm #743478I was able to muddle my way through getting this to work to some extent.
Two issues:
1. Content of one text block and four column section with images needs to be aligned at the TOP of the page.
2. Images are NOT scaling with browser downsizing.Need some assistance.
