    Hello Enfold,

    I created a custom widget area that contains a custom menu. I added the custom widget area to my layout on the left side of the page (ie vertical menu). The problem is the sub-menu items are all expanded. Is there anyway to have it work like the main navigation menu, when you move your mouse over the field it expands the sub-menu items ?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    You are referring to the PATIENT INFO menu, correct? It’s not displaying expanded on my end, could you post a screenshot highlighting the issue maybe?

    Regards,

    Correct, Patient Info. “The Calendar” & “Products Home Page” are submenu items of “Events”. “Shop” is a submenu item of “Product Widget”.
    I have two screen shots for you below;

    This 1st screen shot shows what I see when I open the page. Everything is expanded. One of the reasons I’ve always avoided side menus. I have a customer now that wants a side menu and this would be unacceptable.

    This 2nd screen shot is the definition of the sidebar menu.

    Hi,

    I think you will have to use a plugin to achieve that, could you try this one to see if it fits your needs? https://wordpress.org/plugins/nextend-accordion-menu/

    Best regards,

    Thanks. That’s actually the one I was looking at. – Joe
