Hello, It’s rather weird having settings for the same items on single pages and inside of the enfold settings. (header transparency/sidebar settings)
It’s hard to tell which setting is taking effect, the Enfold settings tab or the page layout settings. Half the time it seems that changing any of these settings does not do anything, as I am experiencing with the sidebar settings. I would like to have my sub pages have a side bar on the left side of the page, as shown similarly throughout the demo: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/columns/
Unfortunately, I cannot seem to get a similar navigation sidebar setup and working, no matter what I do; create custom widgets, change the enfold side bar settings to display on the left, going to the page layout settings and selecting appropriate sidebars/default. Any setting changed does not result in a sidebar but a full-width page, so I am not sure what I am missing.
Please feel free to take a look at the backend with the details below.

Thank you for using Enfold.
Note that the page layout settings will override the enfold theme options all the time. Can you please provide a link to the page with the issue?
If you want to enable the Page Sidebar Navigation, you need to set a parent page for a group of pages. It will display child pages or nested subpages of the parent page. Make sure that it is enabled on Enfold > Sidebar Settings. Also, note that the page sidebar navigation will always display at the top of every other widgets.
Best regards,

Thanks for getting back.
The layout should contain a left-sidebar that showcases the subpages of the Features tab. (Technical Specs, Architectural Design, Interior Design, etc.).
Thanks,
Hayden

I think it’s because your using some fullwidth elements in that page. The sidebar will always display beneath any fullwidth elements you use.
What you can do in this case is put your fullwidth elements inside a 1/1 column element and the sidebar should display then. Or you could also use some column elements above the fullwidth elements and then use our “Widget area” element to display a custom menu widget.

Thanks for the reply, this helped a lot and I was able to get it working by placing all the elements into 1/1 containers rather than colored containers.
Lastly, is there a way to change the order of the nav? Currently it is set to alphabetical, however I would much prefer a custom order, or something that can easily be changed such as date.
Thanks,
Hayden

Is this for the page sub navigation? If so then edit one of your pages and look to the right hand side under “Page Attributes” and there is an option there called “Order” which you can set a numerical order to the pages.
Best regards,
