    Greetings,

After a recent update to the theme, the shortcode content that appeared under “BET SMART TOOLS” disappeared and I’ve been unable to get the content back on the site. This shortcode is in a Custom HTML widget in the “Advanced Content” widget. I just would like for the icons and links to appear as they were. You can see the once working code that I used in the widget.

    Login credentials are below

Now this brings me to a second issue that I just became aware of as I was creating the Enfold user access. I clicked “Users” and all of a sudden I was greeted to 140 Users. I was like, WTF did these guys come from?? There should only be 8 Users. This is a WooCommerce site for a single product, so is this where paying customers who create a WooCommerce account are placed? We only have two (2) paying customers at the moment, so the other 132 “customers” should be removed because well, they haven’t paid.

I’m just curious how they all got there in the first and how do I block this Spam from happening again? Your input and assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Hey eskitaco,
Sorry for the late reply, the dev team has been working on a solution for the shortcodes not showing in the widgets, and we now believe we have a solution for this.
Please include a admin login & FTP access in the Private Content area so we can apply it to your site.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
No, your WordPress login works fine, but I need FTP access in order to upload the new files. Please see this video about what FTP is to help understand what I mean: https://youtu.be/PeiXwNHEJo0

    Mike

One more thing Mike… how can I stop non-paying “customers” from registering on the site and clogging up the “Users” section in the back-end? When I started the thread, there were 141 users, now there’s 170. Thanks

    Hi,
Thank you for the FTP access, I renamed your current theme to “enfold-old” then I uploaded the new “enfold” and checked that your site is working correctly. Please also check for yourself.
Once you are happy you, (or I) can delete the “enfold-old” via ftp, (not the WP theme page)
Should for some reason you wish to roll-back to the old version, it’s easy to do, simply rename the new “enfold” to “enfold-new” via ftp and then rename “enfold-old” to “enfold” then refresh your page.

It looks like the shortcode is now working, Please see the screenshot in Private Content area. Please clear your browser cache and check.

As for the membership I looked at the documentation here and it says: Membership access is granted for any paid order (status is ‘processing’ or ‘complete’). but you can change it so that only completed orders are allowed. Please read the documentation (link above) to change this.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

That all looks great, and thanks for showing me that link. I made some changes based on that. If you don’t mind, could you please delete the “old” file for me? As I previously mentioned, I’m still new to designing websites and am not very familiar or comfortable with FTP yet, so I’m not sure what I need to do. But the shortcode links now appear that was the main thing. Thank you so much for your time and assistance!! Great work.

    Hi,
I have deleted the “enfold-old”, so unless there is anything else we can help with on this issue, shall we close this then?

    Best regards,
    Mike

Yes, Mike, please close the ticket. Thank you for all of your help!
