Hi
Can you help me?1) I have tried different plugins and functions to make a sidebar that is only showed on1 specfic page and its subpages.
Example: http://www.firstmade.dk/online-markedsforing/
In the menu bar there is a point called: “Vi tilbyder”
Clicking on that one a sidebar will show in the left side, but only when you enter “Vi tilbyder” and its subpages. A bare like that I would love to have on my website here: http://raginiinfo.dk/kompetencer/
So that you can see here you are.2) I have almost finished my site, but I would like to roll out in English as well. What I mean is, that I want to duplicate the whole website, and the manual translate into English. But I need a lanuage button at the top so that I can shift between Danish and English. So two functions: Duplicate site and a language-shift button.
Thank you in advance.
//RaginiMarch 30, 2015 at 9:28 pm #420832Hey Raginilk!
1. So your trying to duplicate the sidebar menu like on the firstmade.dk website correct? If you navigate to Dashboard > Enfold > Sidebar settings there will be an option for this called “Page Sidebar Navigation”. Or you can use the custom menu widget and create a custom menu to use in the sidebar.
2. The easiest way to make your site multilingual is to use the WPML plugin (Link). WPML is the most popular multilingual plugin and we have made sure it’s compatible with our framework.
Cheers!
ElliottApril 2, 2015 at 3:26 pm #422515Hi Elliott
Thanks a lot for your guidance. It’s true that I want the page “Kompetencer” (http://raginiinfo.dk/kompetencer/) to look like the one that figures on Firstmade’s site. But the thing is that I have enabled the page sidebar navigation and I doesn’t help. I when I enable “sidebar on pages” it wil appear on all pages, and I only want a sidebar on pages where there are subpages (where you need to keep an overview of what other pages that belong to the heas subject). I hope it makes sense =)
And I don’t know how to make a custom sidebar menu – I’ve tried though.
Can you by screen dumps show me how to activate or what to install?
I will take a look at the multilingual link, when the sidebar is finished – I guess that better.Thank you in advance.
//RaginiApril 2, 2015 at 9:10 pm #422774Hi!
It’s pretty easy. Navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus and then create a new menu and drag some pages over to it and save. Here is a video, https://vimeo.com/92503669, for mega menus but it’s the same process.
Next navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets and create a new widget area and drag the “Custom Menu” widget to the new widget area and select the menu you created before.
Here is another guide on how to do it, https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide.
Cheers!
ElliottApril 4, 2015 at 5:48 pm #423472Hi again
I am so grateful for your help, but I am starting to think I am totally incabable of understaning =/
It’s just that I already had a menu called “KOMPETENCER”.What I can’t find is where/how to make a new widget area. There is nowhere I can drag the menu into.
I the left side I have different “Available widgets”, then in the middle of the site I havea blue button “Create a new sidebar”, I actually think this is a plugin I installed. And to the right I have mu footer columns, sidebar pages etc., and no function to create new areas. I wiah I could email you with scr.dumps or call you/skype you, because I think I need this explained. Is it possible for you to “take over” my pc and show me how to do it?
I think I have the menu ready, I just can’t make it show on only the relevant pages :/
Br. RaginiApril 5, 2015 at 9:54 pm #423723Hi
I’ve solved the problem myself. I just had to go to the specific page(s) and change “appearence”Select the desired Page layout and chose left sidebar.
And then change it on all relevant pages. That was it, and it took me so long to figure :)Have a nice Easter.

RikardApril 6, 2015 at 9:22 am #423843Hi Rikard and Elliott
I got just one more question.
Isn’t there an altenative to this multilingual plugin WPML?
I think it’s a bit expensive, but if you can ensure that this is the absolutely best way to translate my website and do the set up, I will invest in it. It has to be easy for beginners :)And will it create backup of my site automatically? I have though installed the Aksimet plugin so it should take backup… I guess.
Looking forward to hear from you.Thank you.
April 6, 2015 at 11:05 am #423865Hi!
1) There’re plugins like Polylang but we don’t support them and Enfold may not work properly with these plugins. There’s no real alternative to WPML at the moment.
2) You can use this free plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/backupwordpress/ to create backups of your wordpress website.

PeterApril 20, 2015 at 8:56 am #431156Hi guys
I have a prob. The fullslider on my frontpageat raginiinfo.dk jumps, when you look at it from an iPad.
When you scroll down, it automatically jumps up. I saw it on my PC screen, but it stopped. But my friend checked on his tablet, and told me it was still an issue. Can you tell me how to change it?It is setup to be responsive.

April 21, 2015 at 1:14 pm #431949Hey!
your last post does not belong to the thread’s title. Please open a new ticket for a new question. For now I will close this thread.
However, you are using an old version of Enfold. Please update to the newest one (v3.1.3.).
Cheers!
