Sidebar not showing when using grid rows

Hi

I’d like to have a sidebar on some of my webpages that shows a navigation menu. I have set a test menu up.

However when i configure the page to show a sidebar on the right, using sidebar pages (where the menu is set). It doesn’t appear.

Is this becasue i am using grid rows? How can I work around this and have a bespoke side navigation menu appear?
