    I am wondering if it is possible to have a vertical accordion menu (expand/collapse) in the left sidebar and if so, can you please tell me how I can set this up?

    In your case, you can copy shortcodes and paste it inside text widget in Appearance > Widgets

    Thank you, I think you mean using a shortcode to produce an accordion. I am wondering if we can link the accordion to an actual navigation menu.

    You can already create such menu ( example here on the sidebar http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/pages/contact/ ). Can you post a screenshot and show so i can make sure that i understand what you mean clearly?

    Yes, that side bar menu is exactly what I want to achieve but with the ability to expand/collapse nested items. So it is both an accordion and a menu. Please see the screenshot I’ve attached for reference.

    Hey!

    You cannot add menu items in title but you can add them in content as shown here http://i.imgur.com/97ezWBC.jpg
    You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand tosee full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
    You can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into the widget area you would like to use in Appearance > Widgets
