Hi,
On my site I use several navigation menus for different levels of users and only the search bar is shown in the main menu, how can I make the search bar appear in all menus?
Thank you very much.

Can you give us a temporary account where the search doesn’t show at all? Just post the details in private content.

January 22, 2018 at 6:06 am #900608Hi,
I have checked the account and I can still see the search icon.
Best regards,
NikkoJanuary 22, 2018 at 6:55 am #900647Sorry if you do not explain, I’m using a translator.
That is the problem, I want to see the search icon on all the user bars
January 22, 2018 at 11:16 pm #901025I think the translation is wrong
From my side I can not see the search icon even if I delete navigation and cache files
January 23, 2018 at 8:36 am #901274Hi,
Can you give us screenshots based on membership level? so we can see how it looks on your end.
Also, please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

January 24, 2018 at 3:53 am #901854Hi,
Thanks for providing the admin access, I have checked your site however I could still see the search icon, perhaps I didn’t understand correctly, and you want the search icon to be placed on the top menu? where social icons on top are located.
Best regards,
NikkoJanuary 24, 2018 at 7:49 am #901978Hi Nikko,
I want it to be seen on all bars as seen in the picture

January 25, 2018 at 5:13 am #902518Hi,
Just trying to clarify since I’m a bit confused, I can see both search on our screenshots, the only difference I see is the Registrarse link, are you referring on that to show on all menu?
Best regards,
NikkoJanuary 25, 2018 at 5:41 am #902546The links are fine
Yes, I want it to be shown in all the menus
Now only that it does not show the search in the additional bars, only show in the main bar for users not registered/logen

January 27, 2018 at 8:38 pm #903737Hi,
Sorry for the late response, try adding this css code in Quick CSS:
#top #header #header_main_alternate #menu-item-search { display: block !important; }
If that doesn’t help, try flushing out cache if you have a caching plugin.
Best regards,
NikkoJanuary 27, 2018 at 9:16 pm #903750No friend, it does not work, delete the plugin and browser cache and nothing.
Add your code to style.css of the child theme and nothing.
January 29, 2018 at 6:01 am #904055Hi lmap21,
Well, the link with credentials expired. I could not check. Are you using some kind of plugin to have different menus? If yes, you might want to check the plugin docs or write to the author and ask him how to make a menu item appear on all menus.
Could you please update the credentials?
Best regards,
VictoriaJanuary 29, 2018 at 6:56 am #904087Hi,
Thank you Victoria,
Yes, this administrator account is already updated, I only allowed 24 hours, I’ll be aware of updating more time
The paid membership pro plugin generates individual menus for each membership level, it can be that.
Thanks to Nikko too
January 29, 2018 at 7:39 am #904105Hi Luis,
Thanks for that. I really think that you should ask the same question to the plugin author.
If you need further assistance please let us know.

VictoriaJanuary 31, 2018 at 10:44 am #905485Hi,
They say the problem is in the theme, the menus PMP do not have any settings that lock the items default.
February 1, 2018 at 9:28 am #906074Hi,
Sorry for the late response, can you give us a temporary account with a membership level that doesn’t show the search icon? the account you gave before shows the search icon that’s why I thought it was just a caching issue.

NikkoFebruary 1, 2018 at 10:17 am #906117Yes
February 1, 2018 at 10:57 am #906167Hi,
Thanks, it seems like it’s not only the search icon that is removed (which I thought was just hidden) but the burger menu as well. I tried to check on pmpro plugin to check for the separate navigation based on membership level however it’s not available on the free version, can you give us temporary admin access again? so we can check the settings.

February 1, 2018 at 3:24 pm #906334Hi,
Sorry I got you confused, this is what I meant by burger menu: https://imgur.com/a/RLEEe the icon on which appears on your mobile devices which shows the main menu/navigation. As for the link you gave, it doesn’t give an admin access, please check.
Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 1, 2018 at 3:53 pm #906354This my gave me admin access, let me know if it works
“Sorry I got you confused, this is what I meant by burger menu: https://imgur.com/a/RLEEe” it is understood

February 2, 2018 at 7:46 am #906688Hi,
The account is working but it doesn’t seem to have admin access. After logging it redirects to your-profile page and when trying to access wp-admin, it just redirects you to your-profile page.
Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 2, 2018 at 7:51 am #906694Please try this new one

February 5, 2018 at 2:44 am #907632Hi,
Sorry for the late response, the last one you gave is working. I have checked on the settings, however I couldn’t see anything that should help. Can you give us ftp access? so we can try to check the code of the plugin.
