My blog posts don’t have the published date on them, I’d like them to show that date and in cases where there has been an update to the content I’d like that date to over ride the original publish date. How would I do this?

Are you using Advanced Layout Builder for the posts are the default single layout?
Because the default layout does have the option to show the date.Best regards,
