Show only the date on posts

Hello,

I wonder how leaving visible only the date of the post. I researched and found a help saying to enter the following code in custom.css file:

.post-meta-information pages, .news-time {
display: none;
}

But this code removes all post information, including the date.
Someone could enter a code that keeps the date of the visible post?
