    I am having trouble entering text descriptions for Team Members using the shortcode:

    • Sometimes it works fine – usually when “hand typing” in the text

    • Never works if I paste text (I have tried copying text from notepad, dreamweaver and others to make sure any formatting was stripped out)

    • I always end up getting the Team Member Name, Team Member Job Title and photo to show up.

    • The description text always show up in the visual and text editors, but not when viewing the post live.

    • I DO NOT have the problem using the Advanced Layout Editor

    • Problem just recently popped up

    • I have tried deactivating all plugins

    • WordPress version 3.9 Enfold version 2.7.1

    I have the problem on any page with a Team Member, but this is a good start:

    I especially have problems with two profiles: Scott Bockover and Brett Sackett.
    I have tried deleting and recreating the profiles. I have emptied the browser cache several times and have the same problem with Chrome and Safari.

    Scott’s profile finally worked on the other page he is on:

    I had to paste Brett’s description outside of the “description” area to get the text to show up, so the formatting is off.

    Hi!

    Thank you for the links.

    Please edit Scott Bockover’s profile then make sure that there are no space between the team member shortcode and the icons. The team member container itself has a 30px bottom margin plus the <br> tag that will be generated if you put a space between the shortcodes.

    Hello,

    It did eventually start working on the page you posted… although you will notice the tab for “Brett Sackett” is formatted differently as I had to paste the text outside of the ‘description’ to get it to appear.

    The problem still exists on this page:

    Thank you for using the theme!

    I think it is because of the apostrophe on the word hasn’t, had to change it to has not in order for the description to work. Use the html entity code of the apostrophe symbol if you want. Please check: http://gator3139.hostgator.com/~lzthysse/contact/#tab-id-2
