Dear support
I have a shortcode which renders as a url. I would like to use that as a link target of buttons (setting manual link).
It seems I get the shortcode in shortcode problem, because the linking doesnt work and some of the button’s shortcode is now displayed as text. How do I work around that? Thanks.

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look? And please point us to the page where you’re trying to do this.
Best regards,

Thanks. Data in the private section.
The first button is a theme button element and some surrounding element code which is accidentally visible. The second button is a textlink styled as a button.KR, Jay

More details in the data area.
Kr, JayFebruary 27, 2018 at 3:30 am #918140Hi,
So what I did was, I inserted the button element in the page, choose “manual url”, and entered the shortcode in the field.
I’m sorry but the button shortcode doesn’t or can’t accept another shortcode because it’s going to break the format. You have to add the actual url in the field. What is the expected value of the “[wpk_dataset_next_step]” shortcode?
Best regards,

There is a sequence of pages set up in the backend. This shortcode will provide the URL of the next page in the sequence.
