Hi I need some advice. I have a Woocommerce shop on Enfold theme. I need a plugin that will work with Woo and Enfold that will let me do some clever stuff with Categories and side bars. From questions you have answered in the past do you know of any I can try?
Explanation of what I need to do: I am building a tractor spares site. Each tractor model has it’s own category. There are also categories for part types (e.g. Steering, engine etc.) What I need is when someone selects their tractor and then select a category from the sidebar it only displays parts for their tractor model not everything in that category.
This shortcode does what I want showing only products in both categories:
[product_category category=”2000,Engines” operator=”AND”]
I just need it to happen when I am in Tractor 2000 and click Engines.I know this is way beyond your remit but if you know a good plugin it will help loads.
Many thanks
RobJanuary 12, 2017 at 7:11 pm #732789I have been recommended this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-products-filter/
Do you know if it works okay with Enfold?
Thanks

I think I also have a similar problem.
Could you please write your domain?
I would like to have a look.
Thanks
EmrahJanuary 12, 2017 at 9:43 pm #732847Hi!
What you need is to have Shop Page, shows categories instead of products.
Can you please check your WooCommerce settings for that?Thank u

BasilisJanuary 13, 2017 at 4:09 pm #733173Thanks Basilis Will do.
I think I also have a similar problem.
Could you please write your domain?Emrah – I would need to give you a login as it is behind a maintenance page. Also there is nothing to see yet. I will post the url when it is live.
January 13, 2017 at 5:31 pm #733235Unfortunately Basilis’ suggestion is not sufficient on its own. I need to use a product filter.
The plugin I mentioned before looks like it will do what I need but for some reason it only shows the widget title in the sidebar not the categories below. I have put the widget in a page and it works fine. Is the Enfold theme blocking the content in the sidebar or something?
Plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-products-filter/
Page where widget works – http://fordtractorsales.co.uk/robs-test-page/
Sidebar where it doesn’t – http://fordtractorsales.co.uk/product-category/10-series/2610/
WOOF page – http://fordtractorsales.co.uk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=woof
login below
Thanks
RobJanuary 13, 2017 at 5:39 pm #733243Sorry ignore last post. I don’t think it has anything to do with the theme.
January 17, 2017 at 2:03 pm #734705Hi,
the 3rd party plugin you’re using is not built by the authors of WooCommerce (WooThemes). So it would be best to ask plugin’s author about this issue and ask for help. We have no experiences with this plugin.

AndyJanuary 19, 2017 at 6:44 pm #736020Thanks Andy I think you are right. Woocommerce recommend using one of their own plugins called Brands and make each tractor a brand. I am going to give it a go next.
Thanks for your help.
