When I updated the Enfold theme top share this entry social media links disappeared. Need to get them back on the top for sharing. Thanks.

Hi Harris!

You would just need to do the edit again, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/share-this-entry-4/. If you update then the customizations you do will be gone.

Try using a child theme, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/downloads/, and copy the loop-index.php file into your child theme folder and then do the edit. That will save it between updates.

There is a child theme. The code is in the quick CSS but its not working.

Hey!

In order to have the share links at the top you’d need to edit loop-index.php:

Thats was already taken care of before I updated the theme.

It defaulted back to line 215. How can I prevent it from defaulting back every time there is an update.

Copy the following to your child theme directory:
- single.php
- includes/loop-index.php (modified)
