Share Templates accross multisite

Hi,

We run a large multisite network with several regional sites, some of the content is as you might expect replicated across several sites. The feature of saving and importing templates of individual pages is a feature that we very much appreciate but what would make it even better would be to enable these templates to be shared across the network.

If anybody knows about a way to solve this that would be very interesting to hear and if at any time this would be incorporated into the general functionality of the theme then that would be even better.
