Is sharing on X (formerly Twitter) now mandatory on every website?
After updating to version 5.6.8, the “Share on X”-button is activated in every blog post. I also can’t deactivate this option in the Themeoptions–>Bloglayout, as it is already deactivated.

Thank you in advance for your response. :-)

    Hi Volmering!

    No, it isn’t mandatory.

Could you please enable it, save theme options, disable it, and save theme options once again and check if that fixes the issue? :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

hey yigit, nice to see you :-)

Of course, this method works. It has always been successful when adding a new social media icon. But, as you know, my problem is with managing a lot of sites. :-) And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one facing this while using Enfold multiple times.

    Hi,

Please try going to Enfold Theme Options ▸ Blog Layout ▸ Share Links At The Bottom Of Your Blog Post and if the “Twitter” option is deactivated, try enabling it and saving the theme option and the deactivating it and saving again.
I’m not sure why this might be occuring on your site, but we don’t have another way to do this.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

Thank you, I’m aware of this. 🙂 Maybe next time a new social icon is introduced, it would be helpful if it’s set to be deactivated by default. It’s somewhat cumbersome to have to repeat the process of enabling and then disabling it (on-save-off-save) over 250 times. 🙂

    Can be closed ^^
