    Hi There,

    Just a quick question: When using the share buttons on posts will the corresponding social media platform be able to track the visit?
    Are there any other items within Enfold somehow collecting data for one of the social media platforms? If yes, wich and how?

    Hi Thorsten,

    We don’t collect any data, but I’m pretty sure that for instance Facebook, Twitter or Instagram will collect data on your users when sharing on their platforms, that is kind of what they do. Big data = big money for platforms like that, they want to know all there is to know about you.

    Thanks for your reply. Do I understand correctly that as long as I don’t click on one of your share-buttons underneath a post, there ist no open connection to facebook or alike which would enable them to collect any big data?
    Only when you click the share button will the connection be established?

    Can you please confirm that?

    Yes that is correct!
    Facebook does not have any connection to your data at all.
