    Hi-
    The way the blog works on my website is that it’s divided into 3 separate categories. I have a category for Blogposts, one for Newsletter, and one for Tip of the Month. When a visitor clicks on “Blog” on my menu bar, they see the “Blogposts” category. Is there a way for this page to display the post with an excerpt and a Read more link versus having the entire post display? Even when I adjust the settings under Enfold/Blog Layout, it doesn’t change the way the blog category page is displaying the posts. I’m unsure if it’s possible for my posts to display with an excerpt and Read More link since the I’m using the three different categories as a way to organize my blog posts. Any tips would be helpful :) Thanks you!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Please set the Blog Layout > Blog Layout option to “Use the advance layout builder” and then edit the page. Add the “Blog Posts” element and set the “Blog Content length” settings to “Excerpt with Read more link”.

    Thank you! I’m sorry but I don’t completely understand these instructions. I’ve changed the Blog Layout option to “Use the advance layout builder”, but the part about “Add the Blog Posts element and set the Blog Content length settings to Excerpt with Read more link” part I don’t understand. I have a page called “Blog” that I’ve created to post my blog posts on (under Settings/Reading/Post page set to “Blog”). The problem, too, is that the blog on this site is set up under the blog categories (notice the URL is http://helpfulorganizer.com/category/blogposts/. There’s also a “newsletter” category and a “tip of the month” category).

    Hi,

    so use ALB for your blog posts. Then add a “Blog Posts” element from “Content Elements”. Then open to edit it. You’ll see this: http://imgur.com/a/qzVUx
    Look for “Blog Style”.
