This is my blog http://westcoasthammocks.com.au/blog/. I am wondering if there is an easy way to setup the blog so that it arranges my posts in chronological order. At the moment it feels a like the way I am doing it is inefficient i.e. adding a new text box manually then writing in it. Also with this method the newer material is lower on the page. I would like a method that updates automatically including displaying the date. Thanks!

I checked your link but I don’t really understand what I am seeing. Are you using a plugin there? If not then what is the code your using in that page?
If you want to display your recent blog posts then you can use our blog posts shortcode or you can setup one of your pages to act as the blog page in Dashboard > Enfold > Theme Options.
If you are already using our blog posts shortcode there then something is wrong because the markup looks weird. Try doing the following.
1. Deactivate all plugins.
2. Completely delete Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.

I have set the page ‘Blog’ to act as the blog page in Dashboard>Enfold>Theme Options. In the ‘Blog Style’ I have set it to ‘ Use the advance layout editor to build’. I have then just dropped a heading box, text box, and comments box from the advanced layout editor. I definitely think I am doing something wrong.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Go ahead and do steps 1 + 2 in my previous post and send us a WordPress login so we can get a better idea of what’s going on.

March 4, 2015 at 10:06 am #405651Hi!
Please ignore our last suggestion. I don’t think the comment box will work, it will work for the current page but it will not add the comment as post comment because you’re not creating any post. It kinda defeats the purpose of a cms if you’re adding the content manually. Please remove all the elements then insert the Blog Posts element. Update the page. Create posts under the Posts panel. I think it’s best if you look into this documentation for more info regarding posts: http://codex.wordpress.org/Writing_Posts
