Hello,
Thanks so much adding the elements we need to be GDPR compliant to the latest enfold update. I appreciate it. It has caused an issue for me, however, and I’m not sure how to resolve it.If I check the option that says “Append a Privacy Policy Message to your Comment Form”, which I thought was something that we all need now, I, as a logged in registered user with admin rights, can no longer reply to comments that are left on my site. I get the following message every time I try:
Error: You must agree to our privacy policy to comment on this site…
And there’s no box for me to check to accept the privacy policy each time I reply so I’m just stuck. The only way I can replay to comments is to go back into theme settings and uncheck “Append a Privacy Policy Message to your Comment Form.”
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide with this issue.
I’m experiencing the same issue as you do, so for now I switch off that extra checkbox via the theme options when I reply to comments. But I also hope for a “real” fix and thank you – the Kriesi team – for any assistance.

Problem will be fixed in the next update.
Meanwhile please replace
enfold\includes\helper-privacy.php
with
https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_4/helper-privacy.php
Don’t forget to make a backup of the original file for a fallback.

Do you have a test page where we can test it?
