Hello, I am using as background images in color section and I also use the full easy slider. On the Ipad, with the vertical screen, the image is cutting on the side. On the Iphone too. How to let the image fit automatically in these environments – ipad, iphone, android tablet?

NikkoApril 11, 2018 at 12:51 pm #940472Hello Nikko. I made three videos for you to see in practice.
VIDEOS 1 and 2 WITH RESPONSIVE MODE DISABLED
1 – DESKTOP
https://d.pr/sQPuCD2 – IPHONE
https://d.pr/ZYOG2PVIDEO 3 WITH THE RESPONSIVE MODE ENABLED
What is the best way to make the site good on the desktop and on the devices (horizontal and vertical screen)?
I want the site to be fine-tuned in responsive mode.April 13, 2018 at 9:40 am #941367Hi,
It is quite normal for the background images to resize that way on mobile view because the background size property is set to “cover” or “Stretch to Fit” (“cover” description here: https://bit.ly/2nBh42o). You can either set the background size property to “contain” or add another sections with images that are specifically resized for mobile view. You can then use the Screen Options to toggle the display or visibility of the sections on different screen sizes or devices.

IsmaelApril 13, 2018 at 12:32 pm #941450Ismael, thank you for the return. I have been waiting for 2 days to receive this message. I am leaving my client hoping to solve this problem.
I know you’re very good, but I need to know how to do what you wrote. What you wrote is ideal and I know you can solve it. But how do I do it?
I observe that in the forum this is a difficulty that many people have. It’s a big problem because people access a lot by mobile. The priority today is mobile.
Can you help me?

background-repeat: no-repeat;

April 16, 2018 at 4:47 am #942410Hi,
Please insert another section below the current one and then upload a smaller version of the background image or an image that is specifically resize for mobile view. You’ll find a list of standard mobile resolutions here (https://bit.ly/2HpipnC). On both sections, you should find a Screen Options panel. Set the first section’s to display only on desktop view and the other on mobile view. If you’re still confuse as to what to do, please provide the login details so that we can create an example.

April 17, 2018 at 4:34 pm #943159Ismael, how are you? It is very important that I solve this problem. Can you help me?
April 18, 2018 at 3:34 am #943345Hi,
I’m sorry for the late response. I’ve created a test page (see private field) using the home template. You’ll find two sliders in there, one for desktop and another for mobile. Check the Screen Options panel to understand how Element Visibility works. Upload a resized version of the image in the mobile version of the slider or the slider below the original one. You can remove the special headings afterwards.

IsmaelApril 19, 2018 at 1:01 am #943807VERY URGENT!!!!!!!!!
Ismael, how are you? I need to take a question with you. I spent all day doing this study.
My site is onepage …. everything on a single page. Clicking on the top links moves the page. For each menu link there is a color section with the content of that link. For each color section I use a background and this needs to be well visualized on desktop, Ipad and Iphone.
The site has 5 links, this defines that there will be 5 color sections on this main page. OK?
And the variations for the devices of the same color section? Note below.
So:
COLOR SECTION MUST BE VIEWED ALSO IN THE DEVICES
/
/
COLOR SECTION 1 SIMULATION (menu link 1)
Contains background image for Desktop – only one image in 1920×1080 (caters perfectly)
Contains background image for Iphone – one image is needed (375×667) and another lying down (667×375)
Contains background image for Ipad – one image is needed standing (1024×768) and another lying down (768×1024)Summing up:
For the color section 1 that represents link 1 of the menu I will have to create it 5 times on the page:
/
1 for the desktop background image.
2 to the background of the Iphone and
2 for the Ipad. It will be 5 in total.I’ll have it all on this page, as there are 5 links in the menu, 25 color section. That’s right?
Is this the way to do it?
LINK – Use an iphone and an ipad and move them putting in landscape and vertical view. I could not set the background to load on the iPad VERTICAL VIEW. The Ipad landscape is the same as the desktop configuration.
April 20, 2018 at 3:39 am #944392Hi!
I think this is not necessary. Two versions of the image or section should be enough for desktop and mobile view. Just experiment with different image sizes to find the one that works best for different mobile screen sizes.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 20, 2018 at 11:32 am #944535Ismael, thanks for the feedback. Can you tell me what size, height and width image works well on iphone and ipad? I did not find this format. Can you help me?
April 23, 2018 at 7:00 am #945254Hi,
There is no definitive image size because it depends on the image itself and on the device where you want to display it. This is a list of logical resolutions of iOS devices. It should cover most mobile screen resolution nowadays. Use an image size that suits those screen resolutions.
