Hi all!
After updating to Enfold 4.0.5 and WP 4.7.4 and a couple of other plugins: I run into 2 problems:
– product images are blurry (but I saw, there’s a temporary solution to that: will try that one, or wait until the next upgrade of Enfold)
– more importantly: When wanting to Edit the product, it gives a 500 server error! So now we cannot change any products anymore.Seems like a conflict between software parts (plugins, theme, WP) but which could it be???
Thanks for any help on this!

Thijs van HalewijnPS: I rolled back WC to 2.6.14 now.
All other plugins, the Enfold theme and WP core are of the latest versions!- This topic was modified 7 years, 7 months ago by thijsvanhalewijn.

First it looks like you have applied the blurry image fix, as I don’t see any blurry images. Well done :)
Next, I was able to edit the text of a product without any errors in the default editor.
But possible issues I see right off is that you have installed “Thrive Visual Editor” and your WC is v2.6.14.
I recommend deactivating all active Plugins and reactivating them one by one to isolate the issue.Best regards,
MikeApril 22, 2017 at 5:18 pm #781706Hi Mike, please note my PS:
“PS: I rolled back WC to 2.6.14 now.”, hence, as we speak, the product is editable and blurry images are not the issue right now… thanks to the rollback.
Didn’t know you would take a look in the weekend….: should I update to WC 3.0.4 right now, so you can actually experience the issues?
April 23, 2017 at 12:18 pm #781930Yes! I made a crucial discovery!
In my other website, which seemed to perfectly run WC 3.0.4, I discovered TWO crucial things:
1. I cannot edit pages!
2. When *disabling* ONLY the PDF invoice plugin, everything works fine!!!!!So, now, what to do? I can temporarily keep PDF Invoice disabled, at least while editing my pages/products
But how to find out a more permanent solution to this?
Thanks for any help!
April 23, 2017 at 2:29 pm #781938Hi,
Great job! Now that you have discovered that a plugin is causing the issue, you could try contacting the plugin author for more info about the issue. Making third-party plugins compatible with the theme is unfortunately beyond the support scope we offer. Sorry for that!Best regards,
MikeApril 23, 2017 at 5:22 pm #781984As for me switching from php 7 to 5.6 resolve 500error i didn’t try to roll back wc but I’ve tryd WordPress to 4.7.3, same result.
I have a dev site without enfold. Interesting that after updating wc and WordPress to latest my website showed me php mysql error parsing.
So i modified my functions.php and Remplace all
Mysql_escape by mysqli_escape
And my website is back to life running on php 7.0.18
I hope it helpsApril 23, 2017 at 5:29 pm #781988Hi,
