    This is probably the smallest website ever used for Enfold. There is just one very small page.

    There is one big image dimensionally which is only about 250kb and Google is happy with it for desktop in terms of loading time but Google reports that it takes too long to resize for mobile devices.

    I’m just wondering if I could create a smaller image and call that for mobile devices just for this particular image in this particular case.

    Do you mean you want the dimension size of the image adjust or the file size?

    I was thinking of calling a smaller image, being dimensions and file size, in a similar way as to how Android and iOS devices have the choice of calling up a large (retina iOS) or small (android) – just for mobile media queries. All is good for desktop.

    Maybe its not worth the trouble. I just like to see Google reports happy with everything.

    Yes you would need to create a smaller image, and call it on mobile only.
