Hi,
I am using the Yoast plugin for my SEO needs.
I have the latest enfold version installed on a clean WP install.
For my Shop overview page i have the advanced layout builder enabled using the code//Show Advanced Layout Builder on Woocommerce Shop overview add_theme_support( 'avia_custom_shop_page' );
However the seo page title of the shop page is
- Sitename
instead ofShop - Sitename
.
When i disable the advanced layout builder it is calledProducts Archive - Sitename
I had it all working properly before, but this is due recent theme/plugin updates.
Any help is greatly appreciated!March 1, 2018 at 7:53 am #919436Hey wzshop,
You should be able to set the page title manually using Yoast SEO?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 1, 2018 at 11:07 am #919534Hi,
Found out this happens with the newest Yoast update.
I can set manually the shop page title with no problem, but yoast won’t get parameters like%%title%% - %%page%% - %%sitename%%
Might be a Yoast issue. It happens however only when advanced layout builder is enabled.

March 1, 2018 at 11:42 am #919561Check out the private content to see the problem live and check out the backend.
Let me know. ThanksMarch 1, 2018 at 9:31 pm #919921Hi,
Have you contacted the plugin developer?
Best regards,
BasilisMarch 1, 2018 at 9:48 pm #919951No I have not, since this is only happening when the advanced layout builder is enabled.
Therefore I guess it might be an enfold bug? Thanks

You can edit the snippet here (in private)
Can you switch to the default theme and check if the issue remains?

March 3, 2018 at 9:06 am #920696Hi,
As I said this does not happen when I switch off avl. The problem does not remain when I use a default themeMarch 3, 2018 at 12:55 pm #920773Hi,
Best regards,
VictoriaMarch 3, 2018 at 1:31 pm #920787Did you use the support code in the functions?
//Show Advanced Layout Builder on Woocommerce Shop overview add_theme_support( 'avia_custom_shop_page' );
Did you use the avl for the shop page?
To be clear; the rewriting works when you set an actual seo title for the shop page but, as i said in my second post, when you leave the title tag empty (thus: %%title%% – %%page%% – %%sitename%%) no seo tag is given. This means that the %%title%% is not replaced by the page title of the shop overview page.I have enfold 4.2.5 and yoast seo up to date.
See the login link for my installation.
ThanksMarch 5, 2018 at 11:11 am #921412Hi,
Thank you for the update. Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at the page itself.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
IsmaelMarch 5, 2018 at 12:24 pm #921444Ow come on. The login url has been in the private datafield multiple times already.
March 6, 2018 at 5:52 am #922045Hi,
Ow come on. The login url has been in the private datafield multiple times already.
I’m sorry but I can’t find the login credentials in the private field of your previous replies. Please check it.
We edited the SEO title field manually.
%%title%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%

IsmaelMarch 6, 2018 at 10:34 am #922124Then check your capabilities or maybe it is a software bug. Placed it 3 times already to be precise.
Anyway, i know this fixes it. The problem is that when you leave the seo field empty, the tags don’t seem to be used.March 7, 2018 at 5:51 am #922740Hi,
I’m not sure why it’s not working if the fields are empty. Please add the tags manually.
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 6, 2018 at 12:06 pm #967793Still not fixed.
June 7, 2018 at 11:42 pm #969856Hi,
Have you added manually tags as Ismael syggested?
Best regards,
BasilisJune 7, 2018 at 11:57 pm #969861Yes, but I rather suggest a permanent fix for your theme and the biggest wp Seo plugin.
June 10, 2018 at 12:04 pm #970742Hi wzshop,
The login link has expired, can you please update it?
Best regards,
VictoriaJune 10, 2018 at 12:05 pm #970744There is no test site anymore. I would say: create your own, if you still don’t know what the problem is. This is a theme related problem and has nothing to do with my configuration.
