    Hello,

it seems that google can’t find my images from the easy slider. Is this normal or can I do something?
I have around 80 pictures in my sliders.

    Kind regards
    Thomas

    Hey t73z,

As long as images are not backgrounds, they should be fine. How do you know? Could you share with us?

    Best regards,

I tried it through site: mywebsite.com on google.com and then clicked on images where I don’t see any of my 80 images in the search results.

    Hi,

Are you using an image sitemap?
Do you have meta to all your images, from your media gallery?

    Hi,

I don’t use an image sitemap. WordPress doesn’t show popular ones. Can you recommend one?

I add a plugin to create alt and title tags to images, but I guess I should write that manually, even to have unique ones for every picture, right?

I did another google image search with the title of the images and my domain and was able to find at least 5 images. Should google display all my images when i search with exact search words and my domain name?

    Regards
    Thomas

    Hi,

You can use the Yoast SEO plugin and it will do that for you.

    Thank you

    Hi,

will install it again. It’s just a shame that it is not compatible with the AVIA layout builder.

    Kind regards

As I busy on same matter, I have installed Yoast SEO plugin. While my page have over 20 image via masonry gallery, they are not listed on sitemap.xml except featured image.

Yoast offer image sitemap as you know and that feature is very great for SEO consider websites, and if you include your native gallery images into Yoast sitemap, you save us from using other image gallery plugins which offer that feature… While I research Yoast team announce some required hooks to list of images on sitemap; probably you can easily find out.

    Hi,

I think what you are asking is why background images are listed on the page? It’s because they are not considered content when used as backgrounds. They don’t and cannot have alt and title attributes for instance.

    Hi Rikard,

I think you misunderstood the problem. Masonry gallery seems not background images:
    <img src="http://localhost:8888/infos/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/asa.jpg" alt="" />

And these images have img tag but they don’t list on sitemap.xml, hope its clear now

    Thanks
