Add a child theme, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/downloads/.
And then paste the code into your child theme functions.php file.

Not to lose the changes you make in Functions.php file when you update the theme. Have you been able to figure it out? If not, please post temporary admin logins here privately so we can look into it.
