    Hi there,

    I hope you will be able to help me with an issue I am encountering with Enfold: I have installed the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin with the basic settings, and after activating it all of my blog posts have disappeared (I can still see them as being published in the wordpress admin interface, but they are no longer charging when I click on the corresponding links on the blog page).

    I have found this related topic dated 2011 for a different theme, I don’t know if you have found a solution since then…

    I appreciate your help.

    Hey Cerasel!

    Try enabling debug mode and check if you get any error messages:

    Thank you Josue,

    Actually I already had the debug mode enabled but I was not able to see any error messages… I have disabled the Yoast SEO plugin and now the posts load and display normally. Is there a way to fix this incompatibility issue and use the Yoast SEO plugin (current version 1.7.3.1) with the latest version of Enfold – 3.0.4 and WordPress – 4.1.1?

    NB
    – I have already tried downgrading Yoast SEO plugin to version 1.5.5 as suggested in some older topics (but with Enfold 3.0.4 and WordPress 4.1.1) and it still causes the same problem.
    – I have also tried adding the code to themefunctions.php as suggested here ( https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-and-the-seo-wordpress-version-1-5-5-3/#post-312418 #312418) but it does not fix the problem…
    – Finally, my php allowed memory limit is 512Mb, so this should not be the cause ( https://kriesi.at/support/topic/latest-enfold-theme-not-working-with-seo-plugins/ )
    Theme: Enfold
    Version: 3.0.4
    Installed: enfold
    AviaFramework Version: 2
    AviaBuilder Version: 0.8
    – – – – – – – – – – –
    ChildTheme: Enfold Child
    ChildTheme Version: 1.0
    ChildTheme Installed: enfold

    Same here,

    We recently created a multilanguage wordpress for one of our customers using your theme enfold. Since the launch of the site, the ranking on google is terrible.

    The people from Yoast have evaluated the website and they stated that their seo plugin is working fine. The people from Yoast claim that the problem is theme related.

    We do not have enough knowledge on your theme to identify the problem. The time for our customer is running out….

    We need a fix

    Wordpress 3.9.2
    Enfold 2.9.1
    WPML 3.1.8.4
    Wordpress SEO premium 1.5.1

    Hi!

    @cesarel, latest version of Enfold is 3.0.8, update it and check if it gets fixed, if it doesn’t hand me a WP admin account in a private reply.

    @davidlesage
    , your issue is different, please create another topic.

    Best regards,

    Hi!

    The problem is not theme related, try activating Twenty Fourteen and you’ll see the same result. Are you sure you activated debug mode? looking at the logs is the only way to get to the culprit.

    Josue

    Oh, no, that’s theme debug. As i said, the problem is not theme related so you need to enable WordPress debug, basically it’s about opening the wp-config.php file and changing this line:

    define('WP_DEBUG', false);

    To:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);

    Yes, the conflict is between qTranslate and Yoast, try the following:
    http://kb.yoast.com/article/52-wordpress-seo-qtranslate

    If that doesn’t work please try contacting their plugin support as i’m out of ideas at this point:

    Thank you Josue,

    Unfortunately the Yoast fix did not work. I have decided to use FV Simpler SEO instead (https://foliovision.com/2012/07/wordpress-multilingual-seo). It has less functionalities than Yoast but is compatible with qTranslate and does not crush the posts (at least for now).

    Thanks again for your help.
    Best regards,
