    Hi Everyone,

    I found a strange thing:

    A Client page that I setup earlier this year:

    When you open this page, the section with the video and the section with the claim “Wir machen unsere Kunden glücklich” is about 400% height. When you load the page a second time, everything is fine and the sections are 100% high.

    Maybe you can help, thanks!!

    Best regards, Thomas

    Hi Ink_Eye,

    Can you try to disable CSS file merging and compression in Enfold > Performance?
    Then if you have a caching plugin, please flush out the cache.
    If that doesn’t work, please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Ink_Eye,

    I apologize for the delayed response.
    Do you have a caching plugin or your server have some caching feature? if yes, then please try to flush out the cache.
    If that does not help, please give us temporary admin access on the other site as well.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    It seems to be fixed after switching to the parent theme (Enfold) then switching back to the child theme.
    Please review your site.

    Hi!

    On my end it looks like this:

    https://we.tl/t-8yEleFRFGL

    The section heights on both websites do not work. Sometimes they do. And then they don’t.

    Client is unhappy- I do not know what to do. This is the first time that I face this issue since seven years of enfold usage. It’s strange.

    Hi Thomas,

    We are sorry to hear that.
    I have added this CSS code in your Quick CSS:

    #top .avia-fullscreen-slider,
    #top .avia-fullscreen-slider .avia-slideshow {
        max-height: calc(100vh - 20px);
    }

    Please try to review again your site and see if this helps.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    #1307939

    Thank you.

    I hope it helps.

    And für normal sections? The issue does still exist on the other website.

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi Ink_Eye,

    For that site, please try adding this CSS code in Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS:

    #top.home #av_section_1,
    #top.home #av_section_1 .avia-slideshow {
        max-height: calc(100vh - 80px);
    }

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Can you give us temporary admin access to the site again? it seems the calculation for the height of the section is messed up.

    Hi Thomas,

    I have checked your site and it seems to show a Critical Error
    Can you try to update it to Enfold 4.8.6? as it contains patches for issues reported in 4.8.5

    Best regards,
    Nikko
