    How to show a customized sidebar in the search results and not all pages archives and categories.

    That would require a heavy customization to the theme, unfortunately that’s beyond the scope of the support we can offer. If you really need it try contacting a developer.

    hmmm ok, thats a kind of disappointing as it is advertised as
    “any number of unique sidebars, filled with widgets of your choice”

    there should be added “but you won’t be able to use them where you want”
    I will end up with a minimum of 500 pages, now that will look great :-(

    anyway, I shot them a mail, for what it’s worth…

    Hi Rhoody!

    Sorry, i think i misunderstood your initial request, what you want is to have a custom sidebar shown in the search results page right?

    You can do that by editing the search.php file, around line 57:

    get_sidebar();

    Also, this plugin is worth mentioning.
