    Hi, I’m thinking of using the search feature on my website. I have various types of Portfolios going on. I only really want 1 specific portfolio category to be ‘searchable’. Is this possible?

    At the moment when I perform a search using the search widget, it displays everything that contains the keyword typed in the search bar. I would like it to just search the keyword within a specific portfolio category.

    Any assistance would be a great help cheers

    It is possible but you need to modify the search bar, so it does search only into one category.

    I have now purchased SearchWP. Also, to customise my search results page, do I just create a page called search and the Enfold will know that this is the default page to display search results?

    Hi Alex,

    If you want to override search.php, then please copy that file from the parent to your child theme and make your changes in the child theme file.
