Hi,
is there a way to “jump” to a special image – tagged by caption text – in gallery? For example an user search for the name of an island. One of my pages has a gallery with 20 picutres, where picture 10 is the island the user is looking for. All images in gallery have captions. The search found the page, that’s great, but (of course) the gallery starts with picutre one. The user is confused now, because he sees an other picutre than he was looking for.So is there a way to optimize the usability of that point with Enfold?
Thanks,

Yes, you would need to find it’s ID. Here is an example.

ElliottDecember 3, 2015 at 5:26 pm #546528Hi Elliott and thanks. Can you please have a look onto my link (private)? It is a link with ID for image 10 from gallery. But the gallery shows picture one. And second question: Will the search show links with ID in search results, wenn the user is searching for the name of a special picture from my gallery?

Your site is asking for a login.
I’m not sure what you mean by the search question. You cannot search for images, just posts. Or do you mean a google search?

I think you answered my question: You cannot search for images, just posts.
I seems to me, it is not possible to search for the name of an image in gallery, by the wordpress search (not google search). Had hoped there is any way to get that, because every image has a caption with the name of the dress.
Use case: Comes a user to my website and want to search for the name of a dress (have a look to my website, the website sells dresses) then it would be great when the user not only find the page with the gallery where the dress is in there but also get the dress he searched for (the gallery starts always with the first image, but I hoped there is a way to load the page an der gallery starts with any image – possibly by adding an anchor to the URL as you discribed above). But It seems to me, it is not possible

Well that’s not a Masonry gallery so it’s not going to work there. I don’t see an easy way of making the easy slider jump to a certain slide when the page is loaded unfortunately.
What I would do is create posts for the images and display them in the Masonry element. This will solve both problems as they can be linked to as suggested before and they will also display in the search.
