Hi there, for some reason when you click in the search bar that shows up when you click the search icon, it gives a long code error? Says Duplicate Facebook Pixel ID
I tried deactivating some plugins but it still comes up?
Can you please help me out?
April 11, 2018 at 1:29 am #940123Hey BrendaSarg,
Is this only occurring in Chrome?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonApril 11, 2018 at 1:32 am #940124ah yes?! I just tested IE and Firefox and it didn’t do that.
How do I get it out of Chrome?
April 11, 2018 at 1:58 am #940134Hi,
I figured it might be chrome only, do you have any FB extensions added to Chrome on your site?

April 11, 2018 at 2:10 am #940136Hi,
That may be related. Can you try and enter in the pixel ID if you have one?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonApril 11, 2018 at 3:54 am #940164ok, I did that, it didn’t work. :(
April 11, 2018 at 3:57 am #940167April 11, 2018 at 10:45 am #940388Hi BrendaSarg,
There are no errors in the console and so this is not the error that is happening, it’s chrome autofill. If you try on a different computer you won’t get the same result.
Best regards,
VictoriaApril 11, 2018 at 4:15 pm #940541That is incorrect. It’s on my clients computer and my other 2 home computers.
April 11, 2018 at 5:39 pm #940588Hey,
I cannot reproduce the issue on my end. I attached a screenshot in private content field.
Could you please let us know step by step how to reproduce the issue?Best regards,
YigitApril 11, 2018 at 5:48 pm #940593In chrome…even on my Android. I click on the magnifying glass and then click in the search box. If it doesn’t happen the first time, refresh and do it again.
On my Google pixel, the errors come up as soon as I click the magnifying glass search icon.
April 11, 2018 at 6:30 pm #940607Hey,
I tried refreshing a few times and trying again and again on desktop, no error shows up. I tried it on Chrome on my iphone as well but still no error shows up and search works correctly.
I will ask my teammates if they can reproduce.Regards,
YigitApril 11, 2018 at 8:08 pm #940632So strange? I’ve had 2 friends try it and they get the error with chrome too? They had to click in the search box 2-3 times and then it came up?
This is the top part of the error message the search box gives, and I don’t get it, because the client doesn’t even have a facebook pixel set up and I never entered one in the site. It was a new build.

April 11, 2018 at 8:28 pm #940637I’ll put my login credentials here in case you want to see if you can see anything?
This is making me crazy :(
April 12, 2018 at 2:18 am #940731Hi,
I have logged in to enable the search icon, an tried clicking and refreshing several times to get the results you did in the video, with Chrome on Windows 10.
But I also was unable to reproduce the error. The only search text I could get was other text from other searches elsewhere.
Although I don’t use FaceBook.
I believe this is a Facebook pixel issue, I found this listed several times on different help forums, such as: How to fix Duplicate Facebook pixel ID error? Please see if this solution helps.
I have since disabled the search icon, as the way I found it.Best regards,
Mike -
