When I try to find an image, blogpost or a page on the back-end of my blog and use the search field. This field is not working… the results of the search query don’t match :(

We need access so we can be able to check what you mean.it is not also something related to Enfold at all, because it is on your WordPress backend, but with access we might be able to find the problem.

Thanks for that, though the search option on the backend seems to work fine on my end. Could you post a screenshot of the results you are getting maybe?

This is not exactly theme related if the built-in WordPress search is not working for you, there are other options there. Here are some of them:
