    Hi, I have set an element’s Screen Options to only display for mobile screens however it is still displaying on desktop screens and mobile screens. Can you please assist.

    We have no custom CSS that could break this.I have set the settings on the home page “OUR FULL SUITE ACCOUNTING SERVICE” element. It is set to not display on desktop but still displays.

    I have posted FTP details and WordPress credentials to the site for you to try and manually update our theme as when we tried both ways with the plugin and FTP it did not work. Apparently from a previous thread I was told that the theme had to be updated manually on my current version. Also note that we are using a child theme.

    We are also on the latest PHP7 and apache.

    Hey MaritzaPB,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    The theme is a bit outdated. Please do an upgrade from version 4.1.2 to 4.5.6. That should fix the issue. If it’s still not working, go to the Enfold > Performance panel and disable the File Compression settings.

    As I stated in my initial message, we have tried updating the theme to the latest one via FTP and the plugin. It did not work and using the plugin it broke the website completely and we had to restore a backup.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. We can help you to update your site, we need a verification that you have backups of the site in case something should go wrong though?

    Hi Rikard,

    Thanks, the theme seems to be updated now, however the screen options are still not working. If you go to the home page and check the “OUR FULL SUITE ACCOUNTING SERVICE” ribbon should not be displaying on desktop but it still is.

    You have a customized header.php in your child theme.
    Please update it and that should fix the issue.
