    Hi, I didn’t recognise this behaviour happening until recently.

    On clicking on a thumbnail in a portfolio grid, the screen background dims for a moment prior to the Ajax preview window appearing. The same effect happens with Easy Slider slide transitions within the Ajax preview window. Is there a way to disable the screen from dimming before the preview window appears and also the next slide comes into view?

    Hey neilc_b,

    We are afraid there is no way for what you are asking to change.
    It is a function of browsers when sync through Ajaxify data.

    Hi Basilis,
    Thanks for getting back to me quickly.
    I’m a bit confused. I thought the point of Ajax was the screen doesn’t flicker or dim when new data is presented.
    It was the main reason I chose your Enfold theme because I loved the extremely elegant preview window.
    I seem to remember the preview window sliding up without any screen redrawing at all in the past.
    So this isn’t something that has arisen from a new update?

    Please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child theme’s style.css file:

    .avia_loading_icon { display: none !important; }

    You are a star! Thanks so much. It’s now working perfectly.
    For some reason the code didn’t work from Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS, but from Appearance > Customise > Additional CSS it worked like a dream.
