Hi,
For some reason, I can’t save the enfold theme options changes. All plugins are deactivated and this never happened before. I un-istalled WP and Enfold and installed them again with no luck; I was able though to do demo imports.
Thank you
April 9, 2017 at 8:28 am #774808Hey Mo,
Defining a higher memory limit in WordPress and if possible increasing the memory on the hosting server should resolve this issue.
To increase the wordpress memory limit please access wp-config.php file and add the below line
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
For a detailed explaination please check this link http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
and you can contact your service provider to increase the memory limit. If you still have any issue please post your login credentials in private content area so we can take a closer look.
Best regards,
VinayApril 9, 2017 at 7:38 pm #775090Hi. I created for you an admin access for the website. I also asked the web hosting company to increase the memory limit which might take one or two days. I added the code in the wp-config file with no success.
If there is something you can do from your end, please do it.
Thank you
April 10, 2017 at 5:26 am #775247Hi,
Thanks for the login details, it looks like you a required WordPress file doesn’t exist on the server. Please see private for more info. Could you please try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

RikardApril 11, 2017 at 2:30 am #775749Thank you I will try to add this missing file and let you know if it works
April 11, 2017 at 3:20 am #775753Hi Rikard,
I just reinstalled wordpress and enfold theme and I checked the file you mentioned and it’s not missing, however I still can’t save changes to the theme. I used Enfold theme many times and this never occurred to me before. My hosting company increased the memory limit so it must be something else.
One more thing I noticed happening is that sometimes, wordpress shows that a plugin needs updating but in fact all plugins are updated. Not sure whats happening, I would appreciate your help
April 11, 2017 at 8:38 am #775872Hi,
Ok, thanks for the feedback. Could you ask the hosting company why that file is returning a 404 error if it exists on the server?
About the plugin notifications, that usually updates within a few hours. You could try running this plugin though, it might help: https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/

BasilisApril 12, 2017 at 8:38 pm #776877I am having what sounds like the exact same issue. I cannot save most page content. When I click on an accordion or text field, for example, type in some text and go to click the Save button, nothing happens. The only way to leave the screen is to hit Refresh in my browser. Seems like the Avia Layout Builder is broken. When I switch to Default Editor, I can add text and hit Update just fine.

April 13, 2017 at 8:27 am #777118Thanks for the login details, on what page and how can we reproduce the error?
Next time please open a new thread since they get very hard to follow if several users post their problems in them.
Best regards,
Rikard -
