Ok, my default language it’s italian and I can save but if I change language in english I can’t save template’s setting

Hi, I found where the problem is the extension SEO by Yoast causing the wrong message backup theme settings, I also note that they are effective even after reloading the page but the button stays green instead of gray …

    Regards.
    Jean

    #552043

    Nope ….
i deactivated all plugins. Its in my case not Yoast. Even a clean install makes same error …
Before update to WP 4.4 all was fine. And the strange thing is, i can save one language (default) but not the other one.
I only need to set a startpage and i cant …

    Btw: switching didnt worked …

Hi, in fact it is random, it must come from a set of extensions because I do not have a problem on which I have called update (WP -> 4.4 and Enfold 3.4.3 -> 3.4.6 ). Yoast 3.0.6 actived…
    Regards.

    #552286

@Jean, you got 2 languages on your site working?
The only plugin i cant deactivate is WMPL.

@Support: I can create an adminaccount if needed …. i must launch the site and i cant. My customer is still waiting and i need urgent help to fix this problem.

    #552382

No, one language (French), I update 8 websites with Enfold and 3 have the negative message problem but the settings are taken into account.
The sites have very different configurations (WooCommerce, Mailpoet, WordFence, Sucuri, Revolution Slider, etc …), I test more PHP 7 support for some minutes. (that boost WP very nice!)

    Hi!

    has anyone solved the issue?

    Valentina

    #552583

    I solved it ….
I changed the URL-Format in WPML, made my changes in the theme-settings-file of Enfold and changed the Url-Format in WPML again
Stupid way …. but it works … :-)

    #552635

    thank you so much ;)

    #552839

So the issue lies in the new WPML version? Because i have yet to update to WP 4.4 i am on 4.3.1.

If that is the case then this really sucks, due to the fact that i have WPML and Enfold in a lot of installations to go manually and change that.

    #552879

@docperi Did you change it in the wpml setup in the second area (the language url format)? If you did there are 2 other options, which one did you choose? A different domain per language or Language name added as a parameter.

    #552882

WPML > Languages: Switch to “Language name added as a parameter (http://?lang=en – English)”

do your changes and then switch back.

    Thanks! It works!

    #552886

Yes but this is a really bad solution, if you a high number of sites. What i would like to know if this a WPML issue or an Enfold one.

    #555180

    Hey!

I tried to reproduce the issue, but couldn’t, saving theme settings do work totally fine for me on different languages. Can you update to Enfold v3.4.7 and let us know if you still need help with this issue? Send us admin access and we’ll take a look.

    Best regards,
    Andy
