Hi
we have the problem that when we insert eg. testimonials grid on a page (doesn’t matter which page) it saves it for the first time but when we edit a title or content the testimonial section disappears…..and we didn’t delete it.can you help us?

we updated now allits still not working.
when we add eg. the social wall or the testimonials (see saved in templates) and we save it it works – when I then edit a titel or something else it’s all gone…..
try to add it on the “home” or “product” page…….

Hey Patricia, Rikard and John,
for our website, we seem to be experiencing the exact same issue. We are currently running Enfold 4.2 and whenever I attempt to edit the Testimonials, they reset.
On a perhaps irrelevant note; entire sections sometimes disappear when you edit unrelated content and update the site, usually the sections underneath. This annoyingly makes the theme practically unworkable.

Did you add any html tags to the page? Please make sure that every tags are closed properly because it can break the layout of the advance layout builder.

the html tag are all correctly inserted, now we have the problem also with the countdown (insert it, edit the sth…its gone)
Is there any solution? as we have to get live soon with this page for our client but this is not working with these big bugs, we cannot work like this…

the shortcode [worldautocomplete] is an our self-written function, just to complete the input done by a user. It’s a simple jquery to complete the input, the data to complete is an own customer post type.
This souldn’t be a problem during the saving process as this shortcode isn’t rendered in the backend.
Following sites have the problems:
Home: Countdown, Testimonials, Social Wall disappear after we edit sth.
Product: Worlmap, Testimonial
Zone: Worldmap, Social WallWe made a testsite with all these elements, and it’s working http://wordpress.qynamic.com/wordpress/testthomas/ – but with the other pages we have these problems…..

Thank you for the update. Please switch the builder to debug mode so that we can inspect the shortcodes.

We can’t modify the test page because it’s not loading properly. ( see private field )

we swichted the debug mode, as we have to set the site online (just one teaser site ) we had so set the sites to private, just let you know…..

Hi,
I would like to check this again but the test pages are gone. Please don’t remove them so that we can inspect the issue. I created a new test page with the “social wall” and “testimonials” template but I can’t reproduce the issue.

I set the HOme and the product site on public so you can see there the bug with the testimonials, social wall and now also the countdown (on Home)……

I tested the template in the home page but I can’t reproduce the issue. However, I can see a few errors in the console which is related to the media element script. Please add this code in the functions.php file.

Thank you for the update.
The bottom part of the shortcodes are missing from the debug mode field. Please update to the latest version, 4.2.6, and then we’ll use the shortcode parser. See if we can fix the issue with that.

Hi,
The bottom shortcodes (https://pastebin.com/g5LxShca) display in the debug mode field now but I get an error when I try to update the page. Please update the plugins to the latest versions and increase the memory limit from 128M to 256M.

IsmaelWe had contact with our Hoster, and they told us it’s not possible to increase the limit to 256M…….?
The Plugins are updatet now.

Hi,
I’m trying to apply the template to a test page but when I update the page I got this “Record not found” error. Where is it coming from? If you can’t increase the memory limit, you might need to disable the plugins while you’re working with the advance layout builder.

You’ll have to disable the plugin while working on the advance layout builder or editing a page. Enable it back once you’re done. Or ask your hosting provider to increase the memory limit because the theme or your installation requires it.
