    Hello,

We are having a problem saving the theme. In fact, the css of the child theme are not taken into account. Have you ever encountered this problem? If so, can you help me fix this problem?

    THANKS

    Hey Lanteas,

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

I can’t give you access because it’s on LAN.
When registering the theme, do you call resources outside of WordPress?
We don’t have the problem on an open network.

    thank,
    Julie

    Hi,

No, the resources are all local to the site in question. If you are referring to registering the theme on the backend, then yes, it does make calls to remote servers. But leaving the theme unregistered shouldn’t affect any site functionality.

    Hi,

Thanks for you return, is it possible to give me all remote servers calls when we saving the theme?

    Thank you
    Julie

    Hi,

You should be able to see all calls being made in the Network tab in the browser console, or in your server logs. Note that remote calls are likely not the problem. Are you seeing any error messages in the console for example?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hello,

We have no errors in the console except that the child theme CSS files are not loaded.
I also don’t have any trace or error when saving the theme.
Do you have any other leads?

    Thank you,

    Julie

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

There might be a few invalid css rules in the style.css file. You can validate the css modifications using the tool below.

    // http://csslint.net/

Have you tried to temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello,

We have try to disable the file compression setting but it’s the same problem.
We notice that in local (open network) the problem occurs when we disable the compression of any CSS file.

Can you tell me which streams are called during compilation?

    Thanks,

    Julie

In addition, it is noted in the theme :
Please note: Compression is enabled by default. It is recommended that you only disable the feature when you encounter errors (some server environments may cause issues with active compression), or while you are actively developing your website and adding new CSS rules or JavaScript functions .

Would you please tell me what types of server environments can cause problems with active compression ?

    Thanks,

    Julie

    Hi,

Would you please tell me what types of server environments can cause problems with active compression ?

Server configurations can vary significantly between different environments, so we can’t really give you any information about this. And unfortunately, we won’t be able to help you further if we cannot access the site. If you can provide us with the WP and FTP login details, we’ll try to check the issue further.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

It’s ok, we have delete all files compress and open the network to save the theme and it’s work.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Great! Glad to know that the issue has been resolved. Please feel free to open another thread if you have more questions about the theme.

    Have a nice day.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
