    If i make a page in Enfold 4.2 with two columns, no content i the left one and text in the one to the right, Safari do not show the left column without content.
    When I use Safari (version 11.0.2) on a Macbook Pro with OS Sierra version 10.12.6, the problem occurs.
    If i do the same thing in an iMac with OS Yosemite (version 10.10.5) with Safari (version 10.1.2), everything is displayed perfectly right.
    If I do the same thing in Firefox Quantum (version 57.0.4 (64-bit), everything is also displayed perfectly right.
    So, it seems that newer versions of Safari can not handle columns right.
    This causes problem since I do not know what web browsers my visitors use. Is there an update of Enfold taking care of this?
    Best regards

    Hey spalta,

    Could you post a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please? Also please point out which element is the problem.

    hm – i can not reproduce that behavior : Link

    the 1/2 columns on top are in a color-section – the columns on bottom aren’t (without surrounding container)
    i use high sierra and my safari is : Version 11.0.2 (13604.4.7.1.6)

    i can not believe that it is only a matter of OSX Version

    Maybe you can insert an invisibel content (text block with   f.e.)

    Guenni007,
    Since I don´t know what web browsers my readers use, I will put in white text in a text container to be sure that the column will be there with (invisible) white text or as you suggest with &nbsp
    Thanks for your help

    but this is a bug of Sierra and his browser-version.
    because as you say on OS Yosemite – and on my HighSierra there is no such behavior.

    by the way : to get rid of that container on responsive case : goto column options dialog “screen options” and mark the concerning desired behavior.

    Hi,

    I’m not sure what’s causing the issue on Safari but the following css code should help.

    .flex_column {
        min-height: 1px;
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael
