My Enfold Theme displays Normally on both Chrome & Firefox Browsers but when I open it up on my Safari Browser 8.0 (iMac 27″ OS X 10.10.1) a scrolling bar appears to the right show a few inches of scrolling available when scrolling has been turned off. This scrolling bar allows the header to be scrolled off screen, All plugins are deactivated but makes no difference.
November 24, 2014 at 7:31 am #356564Hi Renvato2!
Thank you for using Enfold.
I checked the site on safari windows 8 and it looks fine. I’ll ask the rest of the support team to check it.
Cheers!

scrolling is not working for me on your page. So for me it seems totally fine.
But you can enable sticky header in Enfold->Header->Header behavior->Sticky HeaderRegards,
AndyNovember 26, 2014 at 1:40 am #358092Hi Andy,
I don’t understand why I get that scrolling bar? No matter what size my browser window is it always maintains the exact amount of scrolling bar. Changing the screen resolution makes no difference. It like its in the code somewhere?
But I am using Yosemite OS X 10.10.1, not that mac/safari works perfectly on any website?

November 26, 2014 at 2:11 am #358100Hi Russ!
I currently don’t have OS 10.10 to test but i’d suggest adding this code to Quick CSS to ensure these scrollbars remain hidden in Safari (homepage only):
html.avia-webkit-7 body.home, html.avia-webkit-8 body.home{ overflow: hidden !important; }
BTW, are you using a trackpad or a mouse on your iMac?

JosueNovember 26, 2014 at 7:26 pm #358479Hi Josue,
I added the code to the Quick CSS but it did not make any difference, there is still a scrolling bar. I am using a USB mouse with a scrolling ball build into it.
One big problem that I just noticed!!!
When I click on my PHOTO, MAP or CONTACT MENU’s and also my EMAIL ICON (header) all the information is now gone??? The pages are almost completely blank now except the map page and Email Icon have bits and pieces. So, I deleted all the Menus when I saw this problem thinking it had to do with something when you updated my Landing page to Color? But I just rebuilt all the Menu’s this morning and it made not difference, everything is gone??? I have not checked these menus since I originally built them a couple weeks ago and they were looking good back then. So it either has to do with when the landing page was changed or possibly it has to do with a plugin? I tried the Meta Slider plugin but then removed it and I still have the Google Font Plugin active.

November 26, 2014 at 10:14 pm #358592Hi!
That’s happening because your installation has auto-updated to WordPress 4.0.1, to fix them you’d need to update Enfold to the latest version (3.0.4).

Thanks, upgrading to 3.0.4 worked perfectly.
If you have any more ideas on how to get rid of the scrolling bar landing page when using Safari 8.0 X Yosemite 10.10.1 let me know, I noticed that on some of my menu pages that the Scrolling Bar is not there like under Description, Map and Contact.
Thanks again for all you time and effort!
