Hi, I’ve added a code block to a page so the top Color Section stays fixed when I click a link to scroll next section over with z-index.
    http://christianmacleod.com/home-2015

In Safari the scroll jars and the new slideshow images appear above the bottom section (to view the bug: click ‘shop-collection’ and/or scroll manually).

This works beautifully in all other browsers. Is this something the team have come across before in Safari and are you able to suggest a fix?

Alternatively, if it is going to take more development, can you suggest which part of the code would need work so I can brief the changes to a freelancer.

    Thanks in advance
    Steven

    Hi Steven!

I don’t have a mac to test on but if your wanting to take a look on your own I am guessing it has something to do with lines 671 – 726 in /enfold/js/avia.js.

    Best regards,
    Elliott

    Hi Elliott, thanks for responding.

I will have to pay a developer to look at this but before I do can you please ask another team member with a Mac (or Kriesi himself) in case this bug is known to them and confirm which part of the code should be looked at.

    Many thanks

    Hi!

Can you please try adding following code to Quick CSS

    .avia-mac #home-images-section { -webkit-backface-visibility: hidden; }

    Regards,
    Yigit

Hi Yigit, thanks for the suggestion but the avia slideshow still loads new images to the top and the scrolling of the next section is still jumpy.

You can see the bug on a Mac and on iPad http://christianmacleod.com/home-2015

Hope this bug is something you can help with or Kriesi has seen before.

    Thanks
    Steven

    Hi!

I think it has something to do with the customization you did on the color section. I think for a developer it will be fine to find the problem. It might take 1 hour. You can find good ones here: https://studio.envato.com/ or http://werkpress.com/

    Regards,
    Andy
