    Hi
I can’t seem to find another topic like mine on here so I thought i’d post it.
Since the recent update, ALB seems to be breaking feeds for mailchimp.
I only use mailchimp so don’t know about any others.
So, for about a year now I have been using a saved template for posts in alb to write weekly newsletters.
    Updated theme.>
Mailchimp sends out empty emails >
    Disgruntled subscribers !

I have been testing and discover that if the default editor is used all is well.
Switch back to alb and it breaks.
Has anyone else reported anything like this, or anyone have any ideas?

Scoured endless source codes, dev tools, feed formatting and anything else I could think of.
    Latest wp version
    disabled Gutenberg via options
    saved permalinks twice.
uninstalled Autoptimize and wp super cache thinking they were the cause…
    enfold 4.5.5

    Cheers

    Hi
So after much more digging I have found the following topic

Which references a fix from Gunter on this topic
    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/rss-missing-content-after-title-if-using-alb-in-a-post/
Basilis posted he would ask Gunter if he can fix.

Is this the same issue? (sounds like it)
Should I wait and see if there is a new fix or try Gunters previous fix?

    Cheers

    Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, this does seems to be the same issue. Gunter has an open GitHub issue page for the two you linked to, so I added this thread to it also.
Please try the solution that he posted, but keep a copy of the original files, and let us know if this helped.
If it doesn’t help please include an admin login & FTP access in the Private Content area so examine closer.
    Thank you for your patience.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
Thank you for your patience, the dev team has suggested the solution here for you.
I see that you referenced it above, but did you try it?

    Best regards,
    Mike
